The urban village is a model residential precinct bounded by Oxford St, Greens Road, Moore Park Road and Flinders Street in Paddington. Built over 100 years ago, the area has been preserved and protected by its residents and is a listed Conservation Area.
Otherwise known as Resident Precinct 15, south-west Paddington and south-east Darlinghurst, the Paddington Campus of UNSW, the College of Fine Arts (CoFA) is on one corner of this Precinct.
What makes the Urban Village special is its unique architecture, flora and fauna combined with an enthusiastic and welcoming local community. With sweeping pedestrianised areas and leafy reserve, the Urban Village is an oasis of peace in a vibrant and multicultural city.
